How to graduate

Rules of the Degree Committee in Geological Sciences for Graduation Sessions
Graduation sessions are held in person in Room B6 of the DSTA (maximum capacity: 90 people).
Each candidate will have a total of 25 minutes, including 10–15 minutes for the presentation.
Each candidate must be present at the Department at least 15 minutes before their scheduled time. The candidate will defend the thesis, be officially awarded the degree, and may then leave the Department.
Guests are requested to enter and leave the Department, where possible, together with the candidate and to accompany them to the room. Everyone’s cooperation is required to avoid overcrowding and excessive noise in the Department and in the surrounding areas.
Further practical instructions will be sent to the graduating candidates.
To be admitted to the graduation session, by the deadlines set by the Didactic Secretariat, all candidates must:
– send the thesis in PDF format to didattica@dsta.unipv.it
– send the thesis abstracts to all members of the examination committee, including substitutes, copying didattica@dsta.unipv.it
