Pavia is a city-campus, with a network of university colleges and structures for study and sport that is unique in Italy.

The network of University Colleges (including historical colleges, foundations recognised by the Ministry and public residences managed by EDISU) and the University Institute for Higher Studies (IUSS) make Pavia an ideal environment for university studies.
